Margaret Nord 86 of Wallingford, CT., entered into eternal rest Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was born in Avenel and is formerly of Toms River and Edison, before moving to Wallingford 7 years ago.

She was an Executive Production Planner at Revlon in Edison, NJ for 30 years before retiring in 1986.
Margaret was a former member of St. John the Baptist R. O. Church in Perth Amboy, and St. Peter and Paul R.O. Church in Rockaway.

Margaret was a 65 year active member in many roles in the Vasa Order of America, first by supporting her husband George in his rise to Grand Master, and later in her own election to the chair of the local lodge and appointment as treasurer of the Vasa Home Family. To recognize her efforts she was honored with a lifetime membership award.

She is survived by George her husband of 66 years, her children
David G. and his wife Elaine of Avon, CT, and Nancy S. Lefkowitz and her husband Alan of Westlake Village, CA, five grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Erika, Garrison, and Dustin, and great granddaughter Jade.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 10am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Monday from 6 pm to 9 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Vasaarchives.com or Masonicare.com.
