Margaret "Babe" Lawrence, 101, of Fords, passed away at the Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center on November 4, 2018. She was born on August 16, 1917 in Perth Amboy. Margaret was a homemaker. She graduated Perth Amboy High School Class of 1934. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy. Margaret was a member of the Eastern Star and the Fords Women's club.

She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Powel Lawrence, in 1991; her daughter, Marjorie Olsen, and a grandson, Ronald Ernish Jr.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Knowels, and her husband, James, of Hillsborough; four grandchildren, James Knowels, and his wife, Randi, of Raritan; Judi Edwards, and her husband, Ken, of Yardville; Christine Gavin, and her husband, Michael, of Edison, and Edward Sutton, of Edison; seven great-grandchildren :Deidre, and her husband, Richard, Kara, Kelsey, Matthew, Korissa, Jamie and Evan.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 11, 2-4pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Funeral Services will be Monday 10 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
