Margaret E. Hilger, 97, of Beachwood, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River. Mrs. Hilger was born in Felsoiszkaz, Hungary to the late Ference and Rosalie Kiss and had resided in Beachwood for the past seventeen years.

Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank in 1962, a son Peter Hilger, her two brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are her son: Frank Hilger and wife Anne of Canal Fulton, OH, her two daughters: Mary Kelly of Beachwood, and Margaret Wenzel and husband Darryl Martz of Frederick, MD, nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday 10 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 10:30 am mass in the Our Lady of Peace RC Church also in Fords. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Visitation hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, 16630 Shrine Road, Emmitsburg, MD, 21727.
