Obituary of Margaret C. Gorsak


Margaret C. Gorsak, 90, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Mrs. Gorsak was born in Carteret to the late Stephen and Helen Bodnar and had previously lived in Perth Amboy and Edison before she moving to Whiting twenty years ago.

She was employed as a legal secretary with Jacobsen and Winter Law Firm in Edison and previously she worked for Popovich and Popovick Law Firm in Point Pleasant. Margaret was predeceased by her husband William P. Gorsak in 1997 and a sister Helen Ann Wright.

Mrs. Gorsak is survived by her three sons, Bruce Gorsak of North Augusta, SC, Jeffrey Gorsak and his wife Elena of Augusta, GA and Mark Gorsak and his wife Tammi of Lusby, MD, her one sister, Elizabeth Balla of Phoenix, AZ, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at the St. Michael's Cemetery in Fords, Conducted by the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of New Jersey, 1600 Route 22 East, Union NJ 07083.
