Obituary

Margaret Mary Fata (née Lyons), 92, of Edison, entered eternal rest after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She left this world with her son by her side at home on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
Margaret was born in Perth Amboy, NJ to George and Helen Lyons. Margaret was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church RC Church in Fords. Margaret loved spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered for the beautiful, loving, sweet, caring, and kind soul that she was.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 31 years,  Samuel Fata, who died in 1984. her daughter, Michele Hendricksen, her brothers, James, Coleman, Francis, Thomas, and John Lyons, and her sisters, Kathleen Mastrapoli, Rosemarie Lyons, and Patricia Hudak.
She is survived by her dear beloved son, Joseph Fata of Edison, her cherished grandchildern: Jamie Hendricksen, Matthew Hendricksen and Natalie Fata, her beloved brothers, Joe and Gary Lyons: and her dear sisters, Helen Ensel and Barbara Payer.
Family and friends may visit Friday, June 4, 2021, 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. A Funeral Service will begin at 10 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in Fords, interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
