Margaret Calhoun's Obituary
Margaret A. Calhoun (nee: Kantar), 62, of Fords, passed away on September 1, 2014 at Raritain Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
She was born in Istanbul, Turkey and resided in Fords for the past 32 years.
Margaret was employed for 10 years as a secretary for the Edison Township Board of Education.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years Jay; her children, Jayson and his wife Patricia of Perth Amboy, Nicholas and his wife Fatima of Clark, and Erin of Las Vegas; grandson Gavin James; her parents, Yervant and Sirpuhi Kantar of Perth Amboy; her sister, Etil Capuano and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 AM on Friday, September 5, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen. Viewing will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
