Manuel "Leo" Sanchez, 75, of Perth Amboy, passed away at Newark University Medical Center on May 10, 2022. He was born on December 9, 1946, in Bonao, Dominican Republic.  Manuel was a retired Manufacturing Operator. He loved baseball. He was a fan of the Tigres del Licey from the Dominican Republic and the NY Mets.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Yanet Ramirez, of Perth Amboy; two sons, Juan M. Sanchez-Ramirez, and his wife, Jessie, of Fords; Manuel Sanchez-Ramirez, of Perth Amboy; three daughters, Ginia Sanchez-Fernandez, and her husband, Lenin Fernandez, of Perth Amboy; Jennette Jerez, and her husband, Juan Carlos Jerez, of Perth Amboy; and Rossanna Martinez of Perth Amboy; five grandchildren: Jean, Bianca, Aiden, Jared and Jan; his brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 12, 2022, 5-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral Services will begin Friday, 10 am, at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at St Stephen's Church, Blessed St. John Paul Parish in Peth Amboy.  Burial will be in Alpine Cemetery.
