Obituary

Manuel Soto, Jr., 51 of Perth Amboy, passed suddenly while vacationing in Puerto Rico on Friday, February 12, 2016.

He was born in the Bronx NY and had resided in Perth Amboy for the last 30 years.

He was a graduate of Colonia High School, class of 1983.

An avid NY Yankees baseball fan and NY Giants football fan, he also enjoyed his motorcycles and going to the beach.

He had been employed as a truck Driver for the NY Times in Moonachie for many years.

He is predeceased by beloved sister, Maria Diaz who died in 1999.

Manuel leaves behind, his beloved parents, Manuel and Ana Soto, his brother, Carlos L Soto and his wife Rebecca of PA, and his sister Nancy Soto Vickers, of Fords he was the beloved uncle of Manuel Rivera, Darren Vickers, Jr., Carlos Soto Jr., Vanessa Vickers and Xavier Soto and the great-uncle of Isabella and Christian Rivera, his former wife, Margaret Taylor and his brother in law, Darren Vickers, Sr.

A memorial visitation for his cremated remains will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m.at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. Followed by the burial of his cremated remains at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
