Madeline C. Brandli, 97, of Woodbridge, passed away at St. Joseph's Senior Residence in Woodbridge on December 22, 2017. Born in Mt. Vernon, NY, in February of 1920, she resided in Menlo Park Terrace for 62 years. She was a graduate of St. Gabriel's High School in New Rochelle. Madeline was a member of the St. Cecelia's Altar Rosary Society, was active with the St. Cecelia's PTA and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of the American Legion 471 Auxiliary and a Committeewoman for the Woodbridge Democratic Association. She was a Homemaker.
Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Brandli, Sr. in 2001; her sisters: Margaret Hellauer, Catherine Carroll and Marie Carroll; and her brother, Joseph Carroll.
Surviving are her children: Robert H. Brandli, Jr. and his fiancé, Linda Johansen; Michael Brandli and his wife, Theresa, of Allentown, PA; Patricia Ledda of Columbia, MD; Thomas E. Brandli and his wife, Patti, of Farmingdale, NJ; Philip Brandli and his wife, Karen, of Wayne, PA; and James Brandli and his wife, Donna, of Howell; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, John Brandli of St. Charles, IL.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 28, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords. Funeral Services will be on Friday at 8:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
