Madeline Carol Bishop, 87, of Middlesex NJ, passed suddenly on Saturday evening August 15, 2026, at the JFK Hackensack Meridian Medical Center in Edison.Born in Perth Amboy, NJ was formerly of Perth Amboy and had resided in Middlesex for the last 4 years.She was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School with the "Class of 1956".She was a retired Para Professional with the Perth Amboy Board of Education for many years.

She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the NY Yankess and NY Giants play. She also enjoyed College football Saturdays. But most of all she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play the sports they loved.

She was a long time member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Perth Amboy ; Ukrainian Catholic School PTA, Perth Amboy; Perth Amboy Youth Baseball Ladies Auxiliary; Perth Amboy Red Raiders Concession Stand Coordinator. 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Edward Bishop, and her beloved parents Harry and Edith Adams.

Carol leaves behind, her 6 beloved children ; Debbie Marco and her husband Jeff, Brian Bishop, Donna Franqui and her husband Robert, Denise May and her husband Robert, Dawn Bishop and her fiance David Rich, and Brad Bishop and his wife Erin, her 12 Grandchildren; Bernadette Santiago and her husband Calvin, Brittany Bishop and Fiance Brett Gemmell, Cody Bishop and wife Estefani, Chaz Franqui and wife Rachel, Joseph Bishop and fiance Julia Valenti, Jarrett May, Delia May and husband Matt Deaner, Jeff May and Finace Nicole Costantino, Carolyn and Zachary Wistriech, and Addisyn and Jackson Bishop, and her three great-grandchildren; Gabriella, Garrett, and Gracelynn Gemmell

.Visiting hours will be on Thursday August 20, 2026 from 4pm until 8 pm at the Flynn and Son /  Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863. with a Parastas service at 7 pm. 

Funeral Services will begin on Friday August 21, 2026, at 9:30 am, from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home followed by a 10 am service of Divine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, 686 Alta Vista Place, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861 . 

Interment will immediately follow at the Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge NJ.
