Madeleine Therese McGlynn, 82, of Edison passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012, at St. Peter's Medical Center, New Brunswick.
She was born June 22, 1929, in Boston and resided in Edison for the past 60 years. Madeleine was an Office Manager for 25 years for various dentists in the Edison area, retiring in 1986.
Madeleine was predeceased by a daughter, Elaine Solomos, and a son, Robert McGlynn Jr. Surviving is a son, Thomas and his wife Carla of Waynesville, NC; daughters: Susan McGlynn of Manheim, PA, Sharon McGlynn of Bradenton, FL, and Kathleen McGlynn of Lititz, PA; 6 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren; and her long-time companion, Edward Schaefer of North Plainfield.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 30, 2012, at 10:00 AM from Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, NJ, with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2012, from 7:00-9:00 PM.
