Luzmila Ocasio, 85, of Perth Amboy died Wednesday June 8, 2022, at Arnold Water Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born in Lima Peru, Luzmila immigrated to the United States in the 1960s.  After graduating high school in Peru, Luzmila worked in assembly production for Revlon in Edison then later for Chanel in Piscataway before her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed planting flowers and making home cooked meals, her Spanish rice and empanadas where the best around.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Catalino Ocasio Sr., sister Anna Medina and brothers Carlos and Ernesto Medina. She is survived by her son, Catalino Ocasio Jr. and his wife Amanda; her sister, Ines Rivera; and many extended relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday June 13, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ 08863 .
