Luz Eneida Hiraldo-Velez, 53, of Perth Amboy, passed peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, after a long courageous battle with ALS.

Born on December 3, 1968, in Paterson, NJ, and raised in Jersey City, where she graduated as Valedictorian of Lincoln High School.

She was an avid churchgoer who enjoyed singing in the choir.

A Hard Working woman she was, until the end, before becoming disabled.

With a beautiful smile that lit up the room, she inspired people to never lose their faith in God, as she was a woman of faith, through good times and bad.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 30 years, Jimmy Hiraldo, her two beloved children; Eddie and Stephanie Hiraldo, her parents, Primitivo Velez and Luduvina Malpica and her 5 beloved siblings; Millie Gonzalez, William Velez, Vina Connaughton, Maritza Nieves, and Primitivo Velez, Jr., as well as her nieces, nephews and godchildren, who she loved dearly.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 16, 2022,  from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022, at 10 am, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home,  23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ, immediately followed by an interment service in Alpine Cemetery Perth Amboy, NJ.
