Luz Del Carmen Carrasco Cerda, 65, of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away on Monday, April 22nd at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family.  Luz was born in Dajabón, Dominican Republic.

Luz is predeceased by her father, Octavio Carrasco and her son Jose William Zapata.

Luz is survived by her mother Isabel Modesta Hernandez Cerda and her beloved sons, Jose Ruben Castellanos and his wife, Muphy, Jose Bienvenido Castellanos and his wife, Australia, Jose Emmanuel Castellanos and his wife, Darline and Ruben Castellanos;  her thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 5 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ.
