Luis Nogueras, Sr.  92, passed away peacefully at his home in the Hopelawn section of Woodbridge Township on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

Luis was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico to the late Galo and Romana Nogueras.  He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and remained in the Army Reserve for several years after that. During his career he was employed as a foreman for Lee Filters in Edison.

In addition to his parents, Luis was preceded in death by his wife Luz in 1994.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Luis, Jr. in 2014.  He will live in the memories of his children: Maria Pagan, Edgardo Nogueras and wife Medina, Geraldo Nogueras, and Joseph Nogueras.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm where Funeral Services will take place on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
