Luis Antonio Miranda-Soto, 81 of Perth Amboy, NJ passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark.

He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico on April 15, 1943.

He was a proud six year veteran serving the U.S. Air Force.

Luis was employed as a construction worker and an avid NY Yankees baseball fan. He enjoyed assembling models, especially model cars. He loved music, dancing and was very handy.

He was predeceased by his son, Luis A. Miranda, Jr. (2019), his parents Rosaura Soto and Camilo Miranda. As well as his brother Candido (Tito) Miranda, and his sister Carmen (Cookie) Bruno.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Valentina Miranda, a daughter Ysolde Miranda; a son, Heriberto Miranda; two grandchildren, Serena and Joel Miranda; a brother Fernando Miranda of Florida and sisters: Maria Miranda, Victoria Justiniano, and Zoraida Rodriguez of Florida.

Visitation will be at the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy, NJ 08861 on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 4 pm until 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11 am, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home. Perth Amboy.
