Luis Mateos, Jr. age 41, of Perth Amboy passed away on July 5, 2012, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
He was born, April 16, 1971, in Brooklyn and has resided in Perth Amboy since the age of 9. In 2011, Luis graduated from Sanford Brown Institute as a Cardiovascular Technician.
He is predeceased by his father, Luis Sr. in 2007. Surviving are his sons, Joshua Mateos and Christian Montgomery; their mother, Grisell Mercado; his mother, Martha (Vera) of Perth Amboy; his sister, Carmen Mateos and her husband Ernesto Santiago of Perth Amboy; and a niece and nephew.
Viewing will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy with a wake service at 8pm. Cremation will be private.
