Luis Rosario Heriberto Veloz, 39, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2016, at University Medical Center in Newark.  Born in La Vega, Dominican Republic, he resided in Perth Amboy.  He was the Owner/Operator of the Twin Supermarket in Perth Amboy and Jackson Supermarket in Elizabeth.  He was communicant of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, Holy Trinity Church.  Luis had a good sense of humor.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to the beach, and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Luis was predeceased by his parents, Gumecindo Valdez and Maria Mercedes Polonia.  He is survived by his wife, Eridonia De Rosario, of Perth Amboy; his son, Yoeric Valdez; his twin sons, Justin and Jordy Rosario; his daughter, Yaneri Plasencia; his brothers, Jose Valdez and Julio Valdez; his sisters: Miladys, Maria Elena, Maria Yaquelin and Yudy Valdez; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, January 18, 2016, at 10:00 AM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861 followed by a 10:30 AM funeral liturgy at Holy Trinity Church.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
