Luis Humberto Aponte, 80, of Perth Amboy, entered into eternal rest, September 26, 2017, in Reading, PA.  He was born in the Dominican Republic and resided in Perth Amboy since 1983.

Luis was a Carpenter at Afre Construction in Perth Amboy before retiring.

Luis is survived by his wife, Maria Ramona Aponte; four daughters: Elis R. Francisco, Susana Lopez, Noemi Aponte, and Yris Fernandez; two sons, Luis M. Aponte, and Luis A. Aponte; fourteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her sister, Fior Aponte; and her brother, Augusto Aponte.

Funeral services will be held on Monday October 2, 2017, at 9:30 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church.  Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hopelawn.  Visitation is Sunday October 1, 2017, from 2 pm to 8 pm.
