Lucy Rizco (formerly Lucy Giarlo), age 93, of Highland Park, passed peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 9, 2020.  She was born in Highland Park where she resided for most of her life.  She was a communicant of St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish in Highland Park.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Rizco, who died in 1995.  She loved to cook and bake for her family who always enjoyed her excellent skills, especially at holidays.

Lucy leaves behind her beloved daughter, Mary Allen and her husband, Richie, of Edison; her two beloved sons, Patrick Rizco of Highland Park and Stephen Rizco and his wife, Lorin, of Hillsborough; her two dear grandchildren, Michael Allen and his finance, Tiffany Leonard, and Joseph Allen. Also surviving is a brother, Frank Giarlo of Edison; sisters, Sarah Rizco of New Brunswick and Lillian Oliveri of Linden; as well as many nieces and nephews.
