Lucila Gonzalez, 95 years old of Edison, passed peacefully at home, surrounded with the comfort of her family, on Tuesday October 18th, 2016.

A native of Velez, Colombia, she immigrated to the US, settling in Edison, New Jersey in 1989.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Miguel A.Gonzalez who died in 1994, and cherished daughter, Ligia Gonzalez.

Lucila leaves behind 13 children: Rosibel, with whom she resided, Anazael, Reynaldo, Medardo, Jaime, Sinibaldo, Abigail, Saul, Fanny, Blanca, George, Mireya and Miguel H; 39 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday October 20th, 2016 from 7 pm to 9 pm, at the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be held by Flynn & Son Funeral Home on Friday October 21st, 2016 at 9:30 am. Followed by a 10 am funeral liturgy at St. Stephens Church of St. John Paul II Parish, 490 State St., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861 and proceeded with an interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
