Lucas Echevarria, 90, of Perth Amboy, passed away on July 7, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center. He was born on February 18, 1928 in Havana, Cuba and resided in his beloved community of Perth Amboy for the past fifty years. Lucas enjoyed people and thrived on social interaction. He leaves behind many friends at the Olive Street Senior Center where he enjoyed spending most of his mornings.

Lucas was predeceased by his son, Rick Echevarria, in 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Georgina Echevarria, of Perth Amboy; a daughter, Mercedes Echevarria, and her husband, Michael, of Monroe Twp.
