Louise C. Gianfrancesco, 95, of Fords passed away peacefully Thursday, August 19, 2010, at New Roosevelt Care Center in Edison.
Born December 14, 1914, in Perth Amboy she resided in Fords since 1955. She was an active member of the Strawberry Hill Senior Citizens in Woodbridge, Olive Street Seniors in Perth Amboy and Fords, and Keasbey Senior Citizens. Louise will be remembered for her singing and piano playing at these clubs. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church.
Louise was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 1963. She is survived by her daughter Dolores Gianfrancesco of Fords, son John Gianfrancesco and wife Janet of Katy, TX, grandsons Danny and Brian, great-granddaughter Brooklynn Gianfrancesco, brother-in-law, Emilio Gianfrancesco, and many nieces and nephews. A special, "Thank you" to her care giver, Berta, and the fourth floor nurses and staff at RCC.
Funeral Services will begin Monday, August 23, 2010, at 10:00am from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue Fords, NJ followed by a 10:30 Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be at St. James Cemetery. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations can be made to Roosevelt Care Center Recreation Department, 1 Roosevelt Drive Edison, NJ 08837.
