Louis John Laskowski, Jr., 81 of Fords, NJ and Thousand Oaks, CA, passed away on November 25, 2022, at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.

Mr. Laskowski was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School with the "Class of 1959" and received his engineering degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He worked in the Aeronautical Industry for Boeing Aircraft, Rockwell International and Northrup Grumman where he worked on the Triton Drone Project as systems analyst with colleagues Michael Magrogan, Jeff Sappington , Anthony House and Steven Quinones whom he mentored.

He was an avid boat enthusiast, mooring "Perdita" in Solomons, Maryland, with the help of Joe Roberts and his son, Joe Jr.

He is survived by his cousins, Vivian Keenan of Eugene, OR and David and Nicholas Pronko of Dixon City, PA, his dear companion, Maryann Zolota of Colonia, and William Turkis and Julius Dobranski. His neighbors include: Thomas Toth, Barbara and Joe Coyle and Sam Marshall. His many colleagues include James Paladino of Peroria, AZ, Ron Williamson, David Allen, Jim Harvey and Val Egle of Thousand Oaks, CA.

Visitation will be take place on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Interment will follow in the St. James Cemetery in Woodbridge.
