Lorraine Joshua-Green passed away on October 20, 2019 at Haven Hospice of JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey. The visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until 12 Noon at St. Peter's Episcopal Church 183 Rector St. Perth Amboy.  A 12 Noon Funeral Liturgy will follow.

Lorraine was born on February 23,1952, in San Juan Puerto Rico to Constancia Mary Rogers and Nehemiah Joshua. Upon graduating from Perth Amboy High School, she returned to the Caribbean and took up residence in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. Lorraine enjoyed serving as a registered vendor actively representing the Virgin Islands Traditional Lottery. She married Egbert Green December 23, 1982. After several trips to New Jersey, she returned permanently in 2010 as a result of her Mother's terminal illness. Subsequent to her Mother's passing attention was turned to Lorraine's Healthcare concerns. She also spent time engaged in volunteer work with the now deceased Mr. James E. Rogers. She never returned to St. Croix as her treatments included multiple nursing home stays and hospitalizations.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents Constancia Rogers, and Nehenmiah Joshua and her siblings Victor L. Richardson, Pablo and Melagro Joshua.  She is survived by her husband Egbert Green, and siblings: Armando Bess, Dr. Adeleri Onisegun nee: Gwendolyn N. Rogers, Magdalene Belcher, Judith, Hymer, Ruth, Maude, Idesho, Randall, Urita, Ernest, and Jacquelyn Joshua.

Her family paid this tribute to her 'Lorraine was truly a unique creative person; She did not beat around the bush. She had her own way to make people laugh, and She will be greatly missed.'
