Lorraine Ferrence (nee Leib), 72, formerly of Carteret passed away on July 12, 2020.  Born in Jersey City and resided in Fords for 25 years before moving to Monroe Township for the last 22 years.

Lorraine worked for Nestle and the New Jersey Turnpike before retiring in 2008.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peach Church in Fords.

Lorraine was a lover of all animals, especially her dogs.  Her love of cooking was enjoyed by all at family gatherings.

Her most joyous times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed her trips to Parx casino.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Eugene R. Ferrence, in 1999; her loving parents, Emil & Ida Leib, and her mother-in-law, Mary Ferrence.

Surviving are her four children; Cheryl Williamson and her husband Paul, Dianne Ferrence and her partner Joshua, Eugene Ferrence and his wife Angelique and James Ferrence and his partner Melissa, her granddaughters Jordan and Caitlyn and grandson James Jr.; her sister Dolores McCarthy and her husband Lynn, her sister-in-law, Loretta Ferrara and her husband Tony, her brother-in-law, Al Ruggiero, her loving nieces, Kim, Kristen and Stacy, and her many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863, on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 4 - 6pm. A Blessing will take place at the Funeral Home at 4:00 PM for Lorraine.
