Lorraine Egan Elwood, 86, passed away on January 12, 2015 at her home in Green Brook. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided there for 65 years before moving to Green Brook. Lorraine was an Office Administrator for 37 years at Rheem Manufacturing in Metuchen, retiring in 1993.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Jean Miller, Reita Van Keuren and Nora Tooker. Surviving are her son, Drew and his wife Sally of Green Brook, her grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan and Emily, her brother, Joseph Egan, her sisters, Mary (Mae) Rickwood and Ruth Egan, and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 AM, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave, Perth Amboy, with a 10 AM funeral liturgy at Blessed John Paul II Parish at St. Mary's Church, Perth Amboy. Cremation will be private.
Viewing will be Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
