Lori S.
Mccabe
January 5, 1963 – March 4, 2022
Lori S. McCabe, of New Egypt, passed away at age 59 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family who will continue to honor her legacy. Lori is survived by her husband of 32 years, Thomas, her three children, Erica Natalicchio, and husband Rocco, of Baltimore, Maryland; Ryan McCabe, of New York City; and Kevin McCabe, of New Egypt, NJ and grandson, Rocco J. Natalicchio of, Baltimore, MD. Lori is survived by her siblings, Mark and Marilyn Tessler, of Fairlawn, Wayne and Kathy Tessler, of Wall Township, Debbie Zulin, of Sayreville; and Ilene and Gary Hanas, of Edison. As well as four sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-laws whom she loved wholeheartedly.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she cherished with her entire heart. Lori will be greeted in heaven by her loving parents, Sidney and Esther Tessler and her mother and father-in-law, Florence and Thomas McCabe.
Lori was born and raised in Fords, NJ. After marriage, she moved to North Brunswick, and later planted roots in New Egypt with her family for the past 21 years. Lori loved raising her family in a town that embodied kindness, hard work, and compassion.
Lori is a graduate of Woodbridge High School and Rutgers University where she continued onto Engelhard/BASF Chemical Company as a 38-year dedicated employee. But Lori's favorite role was always mom to her three children. She was their biggest cheerleader, advocate, shopping buddy, and greatest fan. Most recently, Lori became a 'Grammy' to the newest light of her life, Rocco.
She had a fierce love for spending time with friends and family, live music, a starry night, a good cocktail, and watching her kids grow.
She had an unparalleled ability to make others smile. Her contagious laugh, and vibrant personality were apparent the moment she entered the room. She had an uncanny ability to recognize faces and names from every stage of her life and cherished every friendship she had.
Lori will be missed immensely, and while nothing can fill the void in our hearts, we are forever grateful to have loved and have been loved by an incredible mom, wife, Grammy, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022, 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
