Loretta Daly, 90, of Edison, passed away on March 15, 2014. She was born in Jersey City and was a longtime resident of Edison. Loretta worked for many years in the cafeteria at St. Joseph's High School in Metuchen and then for 25 years in the outpatient business department at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick before retiring in 2005.

She was a communicant at Our Lady of Peace Church, a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Columbiettes. For many years she was active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts on all levels and served as den mother and troop leader. Loretta is predeceased by her brother Bernard. Surviving are her children, Patrick, Michael, Terrence and Mary Ellen; also her four grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Julia and several nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, with a 10:30 AM funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow at St.GertrudeCemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be Wednesday 9-10 AM only.
