Loreta "Dora" Bencosme, of Perth Amboy, passed peacefully with the love of her family at her side, on Friday, December 25, 2015, at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
Born in Cuba, she had resided in Perth Amboy since 1963. She had been the office manager for her husband, Dr. Pablo Bencosme in Perth Amboy.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy, where she had also been a member of prayer groups and a Eucharist Minister. She had been a charter member of the coalition of Hispanic Physicians, responsible for creation of the Middlesex County Health Fair.
She is predeceased by Armando L. Tamargo, her beloved husband of twenty three years, her beloved daughter, Ida Tamargo Bilbow and her brothers Braudilio and Leonel Villamil.
She leaves behind, her beloved husband, of 39 years, Dr. Pablo Bencosme, her beloved daughter, Ino Tamargo Sowder and her husband, Wilbur, of Annandale, and her beloved son, Armando Tamargo and his wife, Sara, of Tinton Falls, her four grandchildren; Alex, Bill, Matthew and Armando and her great grandchildren; Audrey and Garrett, her brothers; Polo, Juan and Eddy and her sister, Eneida Suarez all, FL also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at, the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and son Funeral Home, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perth Amboy, entombment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
