Linda Carmela Neary, 76, of Monroe Twp. NJ, passed peacefully on Wednesday evening, July 1, 2026 at the Cranbury Center in Monroe Twp, NJ

She was born on February 21, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY, where she had resided for most of her life, before moving to Monroe in 2007.

Linda was a graduate of Fort Hamilton High School with the "Class of 1968" in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY.

She was a member of Primitive Hookers, a rug making club. She won countless blue ribbons and was a detail oriented artist in her craft. She received many awards including "First Place" and "Best In Show" at the County Fair for her crafts. She also carved wood into beautiful sculptures, a few being very life-like birds.

Linda was a lovable character, her love language was gift giving and making. She made many things for her son, Jeffrey Neary, along side Gail Dellapietro and her granddaughter Sydney Neary.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Anthony (1993) and Santa Casbarro (2024). 

With an honorable mention to her friends Leslie and Marge who took care of her daily, thank you.

She leaves behind, her beloved son, Jeffrey Neary and her dear granddaughter, Sydney Neary, who misses her so very much.

Visitation will be on Friday afternoon, July 10, 2026 from 3:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Cremation will follow privately.
