Linda J. Lieberman, 78, of Edison, passed away at J.F.K. Medical Center, Edison on January 4, 2021. Born in Perth Amboy, she was a resident of Woodbridge for 42 years before moving to Edison 4 years ago. Linda was a social worker for the Woodbridge Township Board of Education for 30 years before retiring.  She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Edison. Linda graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1959, got her Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa in 1963, and then went on to receive her Masters of Social Work degree at Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts, in 1966.

Linda was predeceased by her husband Sidney in 1998.

Linda is survived by her son, David, of Anaheim, California, her daughter, Anne, of Woodbridge, and her granddaughter, Kirsten.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.
