Linda J. Deckenback 76, of Metuchen, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday May 27, 2015 at her daughter's home in Tobyhanna, PA. She was born in Clayton, NJ and has resided in Metuchen since 1966.

Linda was a graduate of the Clara Maas School of Nursing in Belleville. She was a registered Nurse at JFK Medical Center in Edison for 33 years before retiring in 2000.

She was a member of the Reformed Church of Metuchen, and the Crossroads Committee at the Church, and a member of the Metuchen YMCA.

Linda was predeceased by her husband Ronald R. Deckenback in1998, her daughter Debra E. De Cristofaro in 2007 and her son-in-law Richard Meskill in 2014. She is survived by her daughter Denise Meskill of Tobyhanna, PA, son-in-law John De Cristofaro of Hamilton, and her brother Edward Vail of NC.

Funeral services will be held on Monday June 1, 2015 at 11 am at the Reformed Church 150 Lake Avenue, Metuchen. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen.
