Obituary of Linda A. Aquino


Linda A. Aquino, 69, of Fords, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at her home. Mrs. Aquino was born in Newark and had grown up in Port Reading and moved to Fords eight years ago.

Linda was employed by the Township of Woodbridge as a crossing guard before retiring in 2010.

She was a member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish - La Asuncion Church in Perth Amboy.
Linda was predeceased by her father Michael Armento.

Surviving are her husband, of fifty years, Angel D. Aquino, her two daughters: Elisa Aquino and husband Karl of Plainsboro, and Diana Aquino and her partner Robert of Rahway, her mother Beatrice Armento of Basking Ridge, her three brothers: Michael Armento of Edgewater, FL, Richard Armento of Brick, and Paul Armento of Woodbridge Township, her two sisters: Cindy Collur of Milford, and Sherrie Kane of Warren, two grandchildren; Nickolas and Cameron.

Services will be held Wednesday 10:30 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Followed by a 11 am mass in the La Asuncion Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will follow in the St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation hours will be held Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.
