Lillian M. Padula (Christensen), 83, of Edison died on April 3, 2011, at her daughter's home in Peoria, AZ.

Lillian was born and raised in Perth Amboy and lived in Edison since her marriage to her husband Anthony in 1948. It was in this home that she cared for and raised their 5 children. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy and was a member of the church's Mother's Guild. Lillian was also a member of the Eastern Star Mount Zion Chapter #116 in Metuchen and was a member of the Danish Sisterhood Lodge #36 in Perth Amboy for over 55 years where she served as their Treasurer. Lillian loved camping and traveling. Through her journeys, she managed to visit all 50 states, Mexico, Bermuda, Denmark, Australia, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Anthony in 1995. She is survived by her children, Martin Padula and his wife Liping of Edison, Lynnda Padula of Edison, Nancy Thompson and her husband Lawrence of Manchester, David Padula and his wife Diane of Middlesex, and Susan Randlett and her husband Allen of Peoria, AZ. She also leaves her eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two sisters: Jean Baxter of Hopelawn and Susan Christensen of Phoenix, AZ.

The funeral will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2011, from the Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords. Funeral Services will follow at 9:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Perth Amboy. Interment will take place in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday, April 8, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
