Ligia Gonzalez, age 56, died on Tuesday at her home in Edison. She was born in Velez, Colombia and resided in Bogota, Colombia before moving to Edison 5 years ago.
Ligia was a Homemaker who devoted her time to her family.
She was predeceased by her father, Miguel Gonzalez.
Surviving are her mother, Lucila Gonzalez of Edison, her husband, Armando Torres of Bogota, Colombia, her son, Jose Sarmiento of Edisonand her daughters, Angelia Mendoza of and Anjarli Torres, both of Edison. Also surviving are her seven brothers and six sisters.
