Letterio Trinchera, 88, of Perth Amboy, passed away on May 10, 2012 at Capital Health Hospital, Trenton. He was born, September 26, 1923 in Torre Faro Messina, Sicily, Italy and resided in Perth Amboy since 1958.
Letterio was a server and bartender for many local establishments.
He is predeceased by his wife Maria A. (Donato) in 2009. Surviving are his son, Lorenzo and his wife Stephanie of Lincroft and daughters, Maria Ortiz-Trinchera of Fords and Erma Sergi and her husband Giuseppe of Roselle Park; grandchildren: Rachel, Joseph, Amanda, Natalie, Brielle and Ava. His sisters: Angela, Maria and Franca of Italy and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 9 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, with a 9:30 AM funeral liturgy at Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Cremation will be private.
Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
