Leonold Wilkerson, 65, of Woodbridge, NJ, made his journey to the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.  Lovingly known as "Leon," he was born in Jersey City on January 24, 1959, to the late Joyce and Thedelma Wilkerson, both of Fayetteville, NC.  He was a Class of 1977 graduate from Lincoln High School in Jersey City.

Leon was most recently employed as a Driver for World Pack in Edison.  He was a hard and dedicated worker, but his true passion and devotion were to the career path he treasured as a self-taught musician.  There wasn't an instrument that he could not play.

Leon leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 27 years, Beverly Wilkerson, of Woodbridge; four adult children: Marsha Wilkerson of Houston, TX; Leonold Wilkerson, Jr. and his wife, Sarah, of Germany; Ashleigh Wilkerson and Amanda Wilkerson, both of Woodbridge; his four adored grandchildren: Jasmine, Sonja Rose, Genevieve, and Isaiah; his brother, Michael Wilkerson and his wife, Tawanda, of Fayetteville, NC; his sister, Jackie Wilkerson of Jersey City, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 11:00 am until the start of the services at 1:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861.  Funeral Services will begin promptly at 1:00 pm with Pastor Christopher Sadlo officiating.  Interment will immediately follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
