Leonie Agatha Lahens' Obituary
Leonie Agatha "Ellen" Lahens, 70, of Linden, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at home. Born in St. Kitts, West Indies, Ellen resided in Linden for 47 years. Ellen was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and especially enjoyed Christmas time. Ellen was employed by L'Oreal in Franklin, New Jersey for 20 years as an assembly line operator before retiring in 2012.
Ellen was predeceased by her beloved sister, Sylvania Rogers.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Serge Lahens, Sr. Her cherished children: Debra Rogers, Cheryl Rogers, Paula Rogers, Serge Lahens, Jr. and Nadia Lahens; five treasured grandchildren: Kashif, Kwasi, Kwade, Miles and Macey; one beloved great-grandchild, Katalina; and three adoring sisters: Gloria Cornelius, Idetha Ottley and Viola Grant; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held privately under the care of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ.
