Leonardo D. Benitez, 75, of Edison, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Amboy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Perth Amboy.  Born in San Luis, Argentina, Leonardo immigrated to the United States 45 years ago and had resided in Edison for 10 years.

He was a warehouse worker for various companies in Middlesex County.  He enjoyed watching soccer, creating art, and especially spending time with his family.

Leonardo is survived by his wife, Zenaides Benitez, of 20 years; his daughters, Sonia Elizabeth Benitez and Vanessa Mirta Benitez; his stepson, Harrison Ortega and daughter-in-law, Thalita; his stepdaughter, Graysielle Sanchez, and son-in-law, Mario; ten grandchildren; one great- grandchild; a brother, Gustavo Benitez; a sister, Maria Josephina Benitez.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ.
