Leonard R. Malinowski, 74, of Metuchen, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021.

Born in Perth Amboy to Leon and Ann Malinowski, Leonard was raised in Perth Amboy and was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at Monmouth University and further pursued his education at Kean University, earning his Master's Degree in Education. Leonard was dedicated to his 40 year career as a teacher at McGinnis Middle School in Perth Amboy.

A long-time parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Cathedral in Metuchen, Leonard was also a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #3272.

Beloved husband of 52 years of Carol Malinowski. Loving father of Michelle Forister and husband Christopher and Renee Spiegel. Cherished grandfather of Ethan Spiegel, Rosalie Forister and Kaitlyn Forister. Caring brother-in-law of Annmarie Zieniuk.

Private services are under the direction of Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen.
