Leonard "Lenny"
Buniewski
October 3, 1943 – April 19, 2022
Leonard, "Lenny" Buniewski, 78, of Edison, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick.
Lenny was born and raised in Jersey City, the son of the late Anthony and Blanche Zaborowski Buniewski. Following high school in the early 1960's he honorably served in the US Army. Thereafter, he began his career with UPS, working his way up to manager at the time of his retirement. Lenny had a passion for travel which included months vacationing in Aruba and Europe. His love and devotion to his wife, children, siblings, grandchildren, and friends was a top priority in his life. He was a religious man who found strength and comfort in his faith. He was the kind of man who whenever and wherever he was called upon when needed gave himself totally, selflessly, and always with a big heart and lots of love. He will be remembered for all the goodness, happiness, devotion, love and generosity he shared with everyone.
In addition to his parents, Lenny was preceded in death by his first wife Irene, in 2008, and brother Richard Buniewski. He is survived by his dear wife of 10 years Veronica, children: Kenneth Buniewski and wife Sarah, Linda Darling and husband Edward, Kevin Buniewski and wife Holly, Robin Guensch and husband Glenn, and Kevin Kolodiy and wife Andrea. In addition, he is also survived by his sister Frances Buniewski, and 10 grandchildren: Alyssa, Andrew, Keira, Claire, Kevin, Abigail, Olivia, Tyler, Jake, and Sage.
