Lawrence R. Weiss, 89, of Perth Amboy, passed peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.

Born in Cliffside Park, he had resided in Perth Amboy since 1985.

He received his BS Degree in 1951, from Fairleigh Dickinson University and his MA degree at NYU, and was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the US Navy.

He was retired from General Cable Corp in Perth Amboy, where he had been the Administrator for the transportation and distribution departments, for 28 years.

He was predeceased by his parents; Lawrence and Helen Weiss.

He leaves behind his beloved friends; Frank and Mary Jonelunas of Fords, Roxanne Fiorentini and Glenn Jonelunas and his dear friends and neighbors of Harbor Terrace.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 20, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
