Laurene "Renee" Bott Urban, 67, of Fords, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center on December 27, 2020. She had been battling pulmonary fibrosis for the last 3 years. She was born on January 11, 1953, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Laurene grew up in Iselin, where she graduated from JFK Memorial High School, and went on to work across several fields and in different positions throughout her life.  Most recently, Laurene was employed at PQ Corporation as an administrative assistant. Laurene's proudest accomplishment was being a wonderful mother to her children.  Her primary focus was providing the best life possible for her children and ensuring their happiness and health. She treasured celebrating life's milestone moments with each of them.

Laurene is predeceased by her father, Gustave W. Bott, Jr. and mother, Irene P. Bott.  She is also preceded in death by her birth mother, Mary McBride Bott, and a brother, Robert Bott.

Laurene is survived by her two children: son, Jeffrey Urban (Marina) and daughter, Jenna Urban.  She is also survived by her siblings: sister, Maureen Luker (Roy), and two brothers, William Bott (Gale) and Gregory Bott (Peggy).  She had many cherished nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ. A celebration of Laurene's life to be shared with immediate family will be scheduled at a later date.
