Obituary of Lauren M. Deak


Lauren M. Deak, 74, of Bordentown, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her home. Ms. Deak was born in Perth Amboy to the late Louis A. and Elizabeth Deak Jr. and had lived the last twenty years in Bordentown.

She was employed with the U.S. Post Office in Hamilton Township for twenty-five years before retiring in 2013. She is survived by her brother, Melvin L. Deak of Perth Amboy, four cousins, Marian Yelton, Gail Fehl, Melanie Tregoing, Johanna Makay and lifelong friend Nancy Myron.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:30 am at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Hopelawn. Visitation hours will be held Monday from 9:30 am till time of Service.
