Kim M. Murphy, 45, of Colonia, passed away on February 24, 2018 at JFK Haven Hospice.  She was born in Paterson and had resided in Colonia since 2012.   Kim was employed by Lisbon Cleaning in Newark for 2 years.

She was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth (Deyunn).  Surviving are her husband, James; her sons: Matthew Verriker, Jesse LaCatena, and Dylan Murphy; her daughter, Samantha Murphy; her father, Vincent LaCatena; her sisters: Laura Maros and her husband, David; Dawn Nelson and her husband, Bob; her mother-in-law, Patricia Murphy; and her niece, Nicole and nephew, David.

Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 PM with an 8:30 PM funeral service on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.

Cremation will be private.
