Obituary of Kenneth Bruce Matto


Kenneth Bruce Matto, 68, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River. Ken was born in Perth Amboy to the late Steve and Ethel Matto.

He has one brother, Rodney Matto of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ken was a graduate of the Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, Alabama with a Doctor of Ministry degree. He was a published author of four books still available and of online verse by verse commentaries of forty seven books of the Bible which if offered free to all. He was the owner of the Scion of Zion Internet Ministry website (https://www.scionofzion.com) which is viewed in over one hundred and fifty countries each month. Ken was an adjunct Professor of Homiletics and a former Associate Pastor at the Union Bible Church in Old Bridge. He also did itinerant street preaching and was a voluminous writer. Private funeral services were entrusted to the care of the Mitruska Funeral Home, 531 New Brunswick Ave in Fords.
