Kathryn "Joyce" Talarico, 85, of the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge Township passed peacefully at home with family and friends by her side on June16, 2023.

Joyce was born in Scranton, PA and formerly of Lyndhurst, NJ. She had resided in Menlo Park Terrace since 1965. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Orange, NJ. She worked as an ER Nurse at Perth Amboy General Hospital and JFK Medical Center in Edison, where she also ran the "Mercy 9" (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) operations for many years. Joyce was a nurse for University Radiology and various doctors' offices throughout the years. She was also a volunteer for "Operation Smile" and "Doctors Without Borders" traveling worldwide along with her sister Ruth Mosher for over 10 years. Joyce ended her career by teaching lifesaving courses to EMTs, nurses, and doctors. She retired in 2021after over 61 years.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Talarico, Sr. (July 2017), her sister, Ruth Mosher, (December 2021), and her brother- in- law, Bob Mosher, (August 2013). She leaves behind her precious dog, Brandy; her two beloved sons, Raymond Talarico and his wife, Roseanne, of East Brunswick, NJ and Eugene Talarico and his fiancee, Beth Holliday, of Queen Creek, AZ; her granddaughter, Nicole Dollar and her husband, Matt, and her grandson, Bryan Talarico; her cousin, Mary Anne Gerrity of Califon, NJ; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, where funeral services will begin on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 9:15 a.m, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St Andrew's Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will take place at St Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum, Colonia.
