Kathryn E. Strelecki entered eternal rest on December 29, 2022. She was 90 years old.

Kathryn was born in Philadelphia to the late George L. Baker and Kathryn (n. Schmidt) Baker. She graduated from Frankford High School in Philadelphia and then graduated from Penn State in 1954 with a degree in chemistry. After working in the industry for the first part of her career Kathryn became a chemistry teacher and worked for the Edison Board of Education until her retirement in 1997. In retirement, Kathryn was a tutor for students learning English as a second language. She was also an Elder at the Reformed Church in Metuchen, NJ, and in her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, traveling, sewing, and cross-stitching.

Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, John C. Strelecki in 2000.

She is survived by her son, Paul Strelecki, and his wife, Dee, of Whitehouse Station, NJ.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 11:00 am at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen, NJ.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ.
