Kathryn Murcott, 64, of Somerset died at home on May 20, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on April 17, 1948. Kathryn resided in Edison for 32 years before her move to Somerset 4 1/2 years ago. She was a Registered Nurse, working at JFK Medical Center.

Kathryn was predeceased by her husband, Robert Murcott, and her father Joseph Cosimano.

She is survived by a son, Craig Murcott and his wife Laura of Sayreville; a daughter, Dana Hernandez and her husband Tom of Somerville; a grandson, Bobby Niesmertelny; her mother, Suzanne DiRusso of Valrico, FL; and sisters, Leona LaManna of Middletown and JoAnn Cosimano of Del Ray, FL.

Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. A funeral service will be Thursday at 11 am in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
